Foodies100 Twitterati – September

Is it just me or did September fly by? I feel like I have been cheated out of a whole month! Last month saw the Great British Bake Off in full swing and many of the tweets that go along with that are brilliant – we always look forward to Tuesday evenings. What will we do when it’s over? Maybe a twitter bake off…

So, here are some of our favourite funny tweets and tweeters from the month of September. If you’re looking to fill your timeline with fantastic and often amusing tweets, then these lovelies are all well worth a follow (as are we at the Foodies100, of course!). The usual warnings apply, don’t read this whilst drinking coffee, or operating heavy machinery, or that sort of thing….

One day I WILL put pins into a map and discover a hidden pattern, thus solving crime or saving the world through cartography…

I have a bottle of wine and no plastic cup. Does it look truly desperate if I swig it from the bottle?!!!

Just spent far too long wondering why Mary wanted Christmas from a meringue… Turns out she was saying crispness… Mystery solved. #GBBO

Ugh. So much washing up to do. I might just move house…

If I’d known I was going to be sitting on a beanbag in the meeting, I probably wouldn’t have worn such a short dress…

So much blue cheese. This afternoon is mostly going to be spent in a fat slump.

Everytime I eat a burrito, I feel soiled.

DEAR PIZZA HUT: Stop calling me ‘Pizza Lover’. There is more to me than that. (I wish there was more to me than that)

sniggering at everyone saying buns #gbbo

I have run out of butter. This is number three in the list of worst things that can happen. Ever. #firstworldproblems

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at with any questions or comments.

Thank you!
