If you love street food as much as we do (and that’s a LOT) then you won’t want to miss the British Street Food Awards, which take place each summer, and celebrate those meals that are served up on the streets around the world, rather than in formal, fancy restaurants. It’s not about cheap sausages and over fried onions from rusty metal handcart – it’s about fresh, tasty no nonsense food that makes us proud to be British.
This year, Cauldron is delighted to be a sponsor at the event. If you’ve never tried Cauldron before, it’s the only chilled tofu brand in the UK, with a wide range of vegetarian-friendly foods from falafels to sausages. It works perfectly with everything from the flavours of the Far East to the tasty falafel bits inspired by the street markets of Morocco.

Is #streetfood the right hashtag for this comp. There are thousands of tweets with this hashtag so I can’t see how our entries will ever be found. Am I missing something?
I applied for this on July 24, and received my voucher today – 4 August, nearly 2 weeks later. With the best will in the world, there’s no way I can buy their product, come up with a recipe, cook it, and blog it by 5pm this afternoon – the deadline for entries.
Bit disappointed really. Has anyone else had a similar experience.
Helen.
Hi Helen
I am really sorry to hear this, I will pass on your feedback to the brand and ask them to contact you directly.
Thanks
Sally
