In the kitchen with…Sarah from Taming Twins

Inside food bloggers' kitchens....We love having a nosy around other people’s houses so our ‘in the kitchen’ feature gives us the opportunity to meet a different food blogger each month and ask them to show us their favourite tools and gadgets.

This month we have a look around the Taming Twins kitchen. Sarah lives near Birmingham and is generally found baking cake and juggling her twins. She dreams of having a tidy tupperware cupboard when she grows up.

Over to Sarah…

I love this room so much, it’s what sold us the house and we spend so much of our life here. My favourite things in the kitchen are the space and the light, even on a grey day it is cheery in here. I’m just about to give the kitchen a little make over to brighten it up even more. I’m summoning up the courage to paint the kitchen units!

I love my kitchen gadgets. I believe if you’re going to use something every day in the kitchen it’s worth investing in good Sarah Kitchenquality.

Our Dualit toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and Magimix were all wedding gifts. They’re used ever day and I adore them as much now as when they first arrived 7 years ago. There’s something about those classic designs that just make me happy every time I see them.

My KitchenAid (with spare bowl in case of washing up overflow situations) was something I saved for many years to buy. It’s such a beautiful thing. I’ve never regretted that purchase.

My Froothie is my newest gadget, I’ve just become an ambassador for them and am loving my high powdered smoothies and juices.

The dresser was a fairly recent addition to the kitchen. It’s a homely touch, giving me a place to display a few of my favourite recipe books and cake stands. I also like that it makes a good background for my YouTube videos!

  1. My kitchen has needed updating (complete refit) for 10 years but I can’t live for a day without a kitchen. Maybe when my wife learns to use a board to chop things on instead of cutting directly on the work surface. 🙁

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at bloggers@fleaenterprises.com with any questions or comments.

Thank you!
