Recently a number of Foodies100 bloggers were given the opportunity to review the Olive It! cookbook. Olive It! is chock full of delicious recipes celebrating all things olive. Spanish chefs José Pizarro and Omar Allibhoy grew up surrounded by olive trees and in the new cookbook they share tried and tested family recipes.
The book includes a history of olives, did you know olives date as far back as the 1st millennium BC, when Phoenicians introduced the olive tree in the Iberian Peninsula?

There’s certainly a dish for everyone and every season, from innovative marinades to tantalising tapas and tapenades.
