One of our favourite things about summer is al fresco eating.
Whether you’re in the garden, or an exotic location, sitting around the table (or on a picnic blanket) and sharing food in the open air with family and friends is what summer is all about.
Today, we wanted to share some of our very favourite Al Fresco recipes from Foodies100 bloggers – and invite you to share your favourite summer eats with us.
Pop In Sausage Rolls
Sausage rolls are one of those things that are a million times better home-made than store bought, and this recipe for pop-in sausage rolls from the Pea Chicks Bakery is incredibly simple to make, and looks gorgeous. Perfect for picnics!
Herby Potatoes
Nothing goes better with grilled fish or meat than a big dish of potatoes – at least as far as my family is concerned – and I love this recipe from Casa Costello for herby, spiced potatoes. I think they’d go perfectly with some salmon fresh from the barbecue. How about you?
Pizza Pasty
How about something completely different? We love the idea of a pizza that’s also a pasty – and with a healthy twist, thanks to The Slimming Foodie. Now, I wonder what other favourite summer foods we could combine..
Sausage Pasta
Finally, we absolutely love the look of these cute jars filled with Italian sausage and pasta. Perfect for a summer lunch anywhere!
