Firing up the barbecue is a ‘must do’ of summer, why does food taste so much better and more exciting when it’s been cooked outside? The options of what to cook are endless, be it sweet or savoury. One of my family’s favourite items to cook on the barbecue are kebabs, there is something fun about food on a stick and they can tempt even the fussiest of eaters. We have put together ten killer recipes which should fire up your imagination and make your barbecues even more tasty this summer!
Lamb kebabs with mint, a great combination and this recipe from Diary of a Sauce Pot is easy to assemble, quick to cook and easy to spice up by adjusting the herbs and spices. Mmmm, delicious.
Ooo, Andy’s Kitchen’s pork skewers with a bbq rum glaze sound amazing. The glaze is packed full of spices to give the kebabs an extra zing.
Barbecues don’t have to be all about meat and Feeding Boys & a Firefighter has made really tasty sticky mushroom, halloumi and pineapple kebabs, they look awesome and are served in flatbreads with salad and sour cream.
