Hi there, I’m Becky! I thought I’d awkwardly introduce myself, then shuffle off into the shadows, never to be seen again.
Basically, I’m the new Foodies100 Editor and I’ll be busy sharing some (hopefully) helpful/insightful/enlightening content with you, right here. Some of it will will make you hungry and some of it might just help you on your own blogging journey.
Of course, as much of the content as possible ideally needs to come from our Foodies bloggers so if you have any ideas that you’d like to put forward then please just drop me an email. I will be having a look at everyone’s blogs too 🙂
Anyway, as you might have guessed, I did actually exist on this planet before this post went and pointed it out. You’ll probably be quite unsurprised to hear that I’m a food blogger, like most of you lot too. Hooray!
I created my own food blog Gluten Free Cuppa Tea back in 2013 and since then, it’s sort of developed a life of its own. My blog is dedicated to sharing beautiful, yet simple gluten free recipes. Oh and I also like to throw in a few vlogs and travel guides into the mix.
My blog has been been a part of Foodies100 since late 2015 and I’ve had the badge proudly displayed there since as long as I can remember. It feels weirdly satisfying to now be a part of the Foodies100 team!
My professional background is in PR, social media management and digital marketing. However, last year, I decided that enough was enough and I packed it all in to pursue a career in food blogging. Pretty scary, right?
So far, so good, though. I hope my perspective as a blogger combined with my professional background will (fingers crossed) inspire what I’ll be posting as Foodies100 editor.
I guess I’ll throw a few links to my blog and social channels here. Definitely don’t be scared to drop me a line, even just to say hello! I hope you enjoy all the exciting content I’m looking forward to bringing to Foodies100.
Keep your eyes peeled for my next post: how to beat the Instagram algorithm once and for all.
