Next week is national cupcake week, so I thought it would be a great idea to get together some of the cleverest cupcake recipes and share them with you. That way you can bake your way through national cupcake week and celebrate everything we love about these delicious treats.
We kick off this collection with a delightful recipe from Candace at Buckets of Tea. Her Cola Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting are naughty but nice. I’m sure Candace would recommend they are served with a good cuppa.
Okay these might not be cupcakes, but they are muffins. Delicious-looking muffins. Katy Kicker’s recipe for her Chocolate Chip Muffins is great for those baking on a budget. Hurrah!
If you are looking for a bake that the kids will love, why not check our Megan’s recipe at Truly, Madly Kids. Her daughter Caitlin has been baking these colourful Rainbow Cupcakes. What a crowd-pleaser!
These Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes from Rhian at Rhian’s Recipes are not only vegan, but gluten free too. She describes these as moist, fluffy, sweet, fruity and slathered in a delicious cream cheese frosting. I say, please bring me some and let me test them out for myself.
Why choose between a cupcake and cocktail? With Natalie at Hello Cuppies’s recipe for Mojito Cupcakes, you can really have both. I’m pretty sure a Mojito is one of your five a day. Right?
So what will you be baking this national cupcake week? What’s your favourite topping on a cupcake?
