Delightful Doughnut Recipes
I bet you didn’t even know there was such a thing as National Doughnut Week. Well there is! So in honour of this wonderful week, I urge you to bake up some of these delightful doughy treats and support what is a glorious event. It’s all in support of The Children’s Trust, so what’s better than raising or donating a bit of money and eating doughnuts – ALL WEEK!
To help you get inspired, our bloggers have shared some of their favourite doughnut recipes.
We’re kicking off this week with Haydy from Squibb Vicious’s recipe for Galaxy Doughnuts. They look simply out of this world and I bet they taste amazing too!
Jacqui from Recipe’s Made Easy has a grown-up recipe to share. Her Coffee and Irish Cream Doughnuts sound very indulgent and very moreish, don’t they?
If you are looking for a healthier way to eat doughnuts and also a way to get them in at breakfast time, Nicola from Kitchen Sanctuary has the doughnut recipe for you. This is her Healthier Grapefruit Breakfast Doughnuts.
Another healthier recipe comes from Recipes From A Pantry’s Bintu. Her Healthier Doughnuts are cooked using a small amount of oil and an air fryer, so this is a much healthier way to indulge in this treat.
Those following a vegan diet needn’t miss out on a doughnut or two with Midge from The Peachick’s Bakery’s FreeFrom doughnut version. It’s perfectly suited to those who are closely following a restricted diet.
If you are looking for a gluten-free doughnut recipe, you should have a look at Katy from Allergy Free Day’s recipe for a Glazed Puff Pastry Doughnut. This way, everyone gets their doughnut fix!
Our next doughnutty delight sees us heading over to Victoria at Victoria Sponge Pease Pudding. These Iced Strawberry Doughnuts sound absolutely gorgeous and I for one could eat one (or four) of these this week.
And our final recipe this doughnut week comes from Danielle over at Severn Bites. Danielle rounds out this plethora of doughy deliciousness with her Coconut Doughnuts.
What a sweet end to a sweet round up!
